1. Automated payment
Salt automatically charges your account when you order. There is no 'payment step' where you need to provide a credit card number or PIN. Unlike cash, there is no messy "you need to pay $x" or "you forgot to pay me" situations that diminish the pleasant experience your friendly cafe presents.
