Salt Mobile, provider of the innovative Salt mobile ordering system, expects to launch its service in the Sydney central business district shortly. The system which has been used in select locations for two years is expected to be rolled out across a variety of retail locations during Q4 2008.

The Salt system allows consumers to place an order by selecting the store from the Salt application on their mobile phone, choosing the products they wish to purchase and sending the order. The store is able to provide an immediate confirmation of the order.

Salt has a continuing program to enable consumers to place orders on Salt enabled stores.
